The prenasContour® Light System delivers both mid-600nm and infrared light via high-powered, German-made, surface-mount microchip LEDs that are embedded in a soft and flexible pad. Because of the prenasContour® Light’s patent-protected reflective coating, the light that would normally bounce off the skin is reflected back, resulting in a much higher retention of light energy than with other similar devices. No other system has this reflective coating. A prenasContour® Light session is pain-free, with no heat or discomfort, and is safe to operate for both the patient and the technician.
prenasContour® Light System working principle
The prenasContour® Light System delivers both 650nm and 940nm light via high-powered, German-made, surface mount microchip lamps that are imbedded in a soft and flexible pad. This pad can easily be applied to any part of the body. Because of the prenasContour® Light’s proprietary reflective coating, the light that would normally bounce off the skin is reflected back, resulting in a much higher retention of light energy than with other similar devices. No other system has this reflective coating. prenasContour® Light temperature is between 43-50 degrees, actual skin contact temperature is 42-45 degrees. The treatment is painless, has no discomfort, and can be safely operated for clients and operators.

Application
The prenasContour® Light is used as a non-invasive dermatological aesthetic treatment for the reduction of circumference of the hips, waist, and thighs. 650nm and 940nm(invisible light) stimulate lymph drainage and reduce the cellulite, and the 940nm light penetrates deeper into adipose tissue.

Cautions
Cautions before Treatment
- Before using this prenasContour® Light machine, be sure to check if the parts are connected correctly.
- Insert the power supply first, turn on the total switch of the instrument to avoid current reflow phenomena.
- The accessory cable must be aligned with the socket when accessing the host, avoiding the accessory jack interruption caused by the accessories.
- Carefully move the machine, organic glass cannot wipe with alcohol.
Cautions after Treatment
- Customer is advised to take a 30 minutes walk or exercise everyday.
- Avoid too greasy/oily food and sweets. Make dinner a smaller meal.
- Reduce intake of caffeine and alcohol.
- It is recommended to take VC 1000mg / time, 2 times a day after treatment.
- It is highly recommended that the client participate in cardiovascular activity immediately after the treatment to both stimulate the lymphatic’s further, and to engage the muscles to use the free fatty acids as an energy source.
- It is also recommended to advise clients to drink plenty of water following the treatment.
FAQs
The customer will lie on a treatment bed and the pads are placed over the area to be treated. The system will be turned on and the patient will feel a slight warming sensation, but no pain or discomfort. Most customers can read or use their phone/portable device, while some will even take a short nap.
Results will vary from patient to patient, primarily due to the commitment by the patient to their goals. If a customer maintains a healthy lifestyle of a diet and exercise program that promotes weight control, their results can be long term.
There is no evidence that a 650nm treatment will cause an elevation of triglyceride or cholesterol levels. These red light therapy treatments are totally safe.
The first 650nm LLLT device was released with a lot of fanfare and promoted as a quick-fix fat reduction device. Since it was laser-based, it was primarily sold to physicians, but the level of training and education was less than satisfactory to the point where most physicians did not understand the entire process. As a result, cusotmers were overpromised and most experienced less than acceptable outcomes. Patients expected to just sit under the light and their fat would be melted away, but that’s not how 650nm LLLT works. It was not properly stressed with the customers that the right diet, a slight amount of exercise to stimulate the lymphatic system and drinking plenty of water will dramatically improve their results. Additionally, the fact that the 650nm light source on this device was very weak, was positioned away from the patient’s body (measured light energy dissipates at an exponential rate as the distance between the source and the target increases), plus the beam was moving and not focusing on one specific spot, creating a situation where very little light energy was delivered to the fat cells. Since that early version, studies have been performed and a better understanding of the complete process with the steps that need to be taken to attain acceptable results has helped this segment of the market evolve into a proven and successful revenue-generating technology.
LLLT stands for Low Level Light Therapy. This is different than a medical or aesthetic laser treatment because the energy emitted by a LLLT device is much lower than a medical or aesthetic laser system. The effects on the customer’s skin with a LLLT device are gradual, as compared with a medical or aesthetic laser that delivers an immediate response. LLLT devices are much safer to operate as compared to medical or aesthetic laser systems.
